Here is also a video showing step by step how to add an extra payment.

Step 1: Select the option “New Hire” from either the “Contracts” tab or the “Create new contract” option.

Step 2: Select a Single contract if you want to create a new contract for one person or “Bulk upload of contracts” if you want to create contracts for a group.

The “Bulk upload of contracts” consists of downloading an excel format, filling up all the information, and then uploading the document on the platform.

This action is only available for the "You Hire" option.

Step 3: Select the type of contract you want to create.

Traditional: You set a fixed amount to be paid monthly, biweekly or weekly.

Pay per task: You set a fixed amount for each hour/day or task/session. And only pay for the worked ones.

Results-driven: You pay only for a specific task delivered.

Step 4: Select how you want to hire your contractor.

Ontop hire: the contract is between the contractor and Ontop.

You hire: the contract is between the contractor and you.

Step 5: Fill in the spaces with the requested information.

  • General info (contractor’s country, start date, end date)

  • Type of contract (Ontop’s format or your own)

  • Role and responsibilities

  • Payment (currency, payment cycle)

Review that all the information is correct.

Step 6: Once you review the contract, add the contractor’s email address and write a welcome message.

Then click “Send invite”.

Once you send the invite, the contractor will receive a Welcome email with all the information and steps to follow to sign up on the platform and sign the contract.

Step 7: You will be able to view all your contracts on the “Contracts List” option at the top bar.
